Saving Historic Postal Station K

Our history is not for sale!

On July 31st M.P.P Mike Colle organized a rally at help to save historic Postal Station K at the Corner of Yonge St. and Montgomery Ave., which has been put up on sale by Canada Post. Postal Station K is the site of Montgomery’s Tavern, where William Lyon Mackenzie and his followers, launched the Upper Canada Rebellion of 1837. It is also one of the few buildings in Canada that carries the insignia of Edward VIII. Thousands of signatures have been collected over the past month. By coming together we can ensure that future development protects the historical integrity of the site and better plan public space for the future.

Feel free to help us collect more signatures for this cause.
