Province Allocates $16.4 Million for Dante Alighieri Academy High School Expansion

The Government of Ontario is investing $16.4 Million in Capital Funds to build a new addition to Dante Alighieri Academy, in order to accommodate all of its students on one single site.

"This is great news for the students, parents, and teachers of Dante Alighieri. This $16.4 Million is the beginning of many exciting opportunities to create a comprehensive Dante campus on one site, that may include future community partners," said MPP Mike Colle.

Work will begin on a new addition to Dante Alighieri (part of the Toronto Catholic District School Board), in the coming year.

Our Government is investing approximately $650 Million to support the building of 43 new schools, while renovating an additional 30 schools across Ontario.

Investing in new and revitalized schools, is an important part of our Government's Open Ontario plan to strengthen and improve education.

We continue to invest in school renewal projects that make schools cleaner, greener and better places to learn.
